Bad Mood

Alright so I am really bad about keeping this blog up dated right now, sorry. I finally decided that I better at least write a little bit, and no better time to write than when you are frustrated.

I guess to start the story, I have made it 35 weeks of packing this baby and I am look and hoping to see and end in site. I had a doctors appointment today, you would think it would be a good thing, but it wasn't. The baby is doing fine and still growing, I have been having contractions for a while, but been putting up with them, and I have previously asked the doctor if it would be possible to have this kid by the end of the month, to which he previously replied he thought it was possible but would make no promises so me being the dumb pregnant lady I am believed him until I brought up the subject again today just to reassure my self that going on maternity leave the 24 would not be wasting it. ( due to lack of pto I am only going to be able to take a month off) so anyways he proceeds to tell me he will be gone next week and my next appointment won't be until the 24th at which time I will be 37 weeks. So having a baby by the end of the month will be up in the air until that appointment unless I go on my own before then. And on top of that my normally mellow girls were OUT OF CONTROL. Needless to say I have been in a bad mood for the rest of the day.

As for our happenings for the month we have all been plugging along waiting for the weather to get nice outside so we don't have to be cooped up in the house any more. Danny was able to go fishing with his friend to Chester field, they had fun and caught their limit. We played hookie from church two weeks ago and went for a drive as a family, it was fun we went up towardsds Island Park then cut around through Driggs and Victor and took the girls for square Ice Cream cones in Swan Valley, something I use to do as a kid with my family. Here are a few pictures from our tripp. Hope all is well with everyone else and hopefully the next month will not have gone by before I write again.

These are Danny's spoils from his fishing trip.

The girls had fun hiking around Bear Gulch to see all the fun snow forts people had built.

The girls hanging out in a partial igloo.

Kim Huge HUGS!!!!! I know how frustrating doctors can be at the end. When I got to 35 weeks with Kynaston my doctor told me he was positive I wouldn't make it to my next appoitment. He told me that every week tell week 38 when he finaly told me I was in labor and needed to go to the hospital. GRRR I wish they wouldn't say things that aren't true to us poor prego weman. Good luck and hope you have tons of progress between now and the 24th.

Looks like you guys had lots of fun in the snow.

I know how you feel, but think of your little guy inside, he may still need a little time to get stronger. I know how wonderful it would be to have the baby at 37 weeks, I had Paige right before I was 37 weeks and she had to stay in the nicu for 3 days. You don't want that to happen. Just stay calm and try and relax, your body will have the baby when it is ready. Why the 24th do you want a Birthday Baby or Something, lol!

Good luck Kim! Just hang in there, the last little bit always seems to take forever, but soon you'll be holding another sweet little one in your arms! We wish you and the coming arrival the best.
